Celebrating Halloween

The Halloween celebrations are kicking into high gear this weekend all over the Twin Cities.

The Park After Dark at the Mall of America starts up tomorrow. Every Friday and Saturday during October from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., patrons are encouraged to bring the whole family for park-wide thrills and delights, festive rides and spirited entertainment. An after dark discount will allow the whole family access to rides, a costume contest, singing pirates, and who knows what else.

Valleyfair has transformed into ValleySCARE and opens this weekend. Indoor mazes, trick-or-treating for kids, scare zones and various day and nighttime entertainment for people of all ages.

I’m sure there are plenty more Haunted Houses, Trails of Terror, and other Halloween-oriented activities that could make a person wet their pants, so feel free to leave your favorite in the comments for others to check out.
