Luxurious Leftovers
From which Twin Cities restaurant have you taken home the BEST leftovers?
My vote currently goes to Amore Victoria on Lake Street. I dined at Amore on Thursday night, ordering a dish called Agnolotti alla Lobster & Shrimp. This is the second time I’ve enjoyed this heavenly entrée: lobster filled ravioli, jumbo shrimp and crab meat sautéed in brandy and topped with a Romano cheese cream sauce. Deee-lish!
After manging on a varietal olive and goat cheese appetizer and fresh doughy bread, I was a little too full to get through even half of my supper. I ended up with the most fabulous doggie bag ever.
My leftovers were put to good use at lunch today. The microwaved heat didn’t break down the sauce as much as I thought it might. Must’ve been all that cheese gluing it together…mmmmmmmm!

I can’t believe I through away leftovers… I never do that.
But the best leftovers… hmm… I tend to have a lot of food from Cheesecake Factory… I can barely eat my meal, so that ends up being leftover.
Also… I love pizza… reheated in the toaster oven = heaven.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the re-heatability of the deep dish thai chicken pizza I brought home from Old Chicago.
I’ve had pretty good leftovers from Figlio.
I typically eat everything on my plate… I don’t remember the last time I had leftovers :S
