Wicked on a budget…

So instead fo fighting for a ticket in the lottery, I found a way to see it in a much more interesting way. I going to have the 24 hour trip that is going to be either really fun, or extremely scary. A few of my friends and I have booked a trip to Chicago to see Wicked. We aren’t driving, that would be too easy…and expensive. Nope, we bought tickets on the all new mass transit system, Megabus.com. This is a bus system that has no terminals, no ticket employees, and you can only book online. We got our two way ticket to Chicago and back for $20. I have read stories online about folks getting tickets for as low as $1!! It all depends on how early you book. Megabus is a division owned by a company in Scotland called Stagecoach Group. They are the company responsible for putting in a similar business over in England. According to an article I read about them in the Chicago Tribune, they are planning on turning a profit by this Fall.

I guess we will have to see how this goes, but if nothing else, it will be an adventure…
