National Ride To Work Day

Wednesday, July 19th is National Ride to Work Day. It’s a day for motorcyclists to commute to work and show not only their numbers, but that bikers aren’t all gang members and hooligans. I’ll be riding to work, and I hope to see a lot more of the Minneapolis/St. Paul biker community out there as well.

I hope the rain didn’t scare too many people off. I know it was clear this a.m. and hopefully it’ll be clear again in the p.m. It’s pretty ugly out now, though.

And it’s funny you should bring it up, because one of my cube neighbors has a bike, and one of my other cube neighbors wants to get one and is taking the learn-to-ride/get-your-permit class. So we’ve been talking about it a lot lately. I’ve taken the class but that was a long time ago and now I’m jonesing to take it again and get a bike for myself.
