Hello everyone! I’m excited to be one of the ‘newbies.’ I moved to Minnesota from Illinois six years ago last week, and I’ve enjoyed every summer of it! Actually, I find the winters are quite beautiful too. Currently, I live in the Phillips neighborhood, or is it Midtown now?…I think it’s Midtown Phillips now, and I work in Elliot Park. Both are exciting and interesting areas of Minneapolis that are currently experiencing some major transitions.

I’ve been blogging for almost three years now at Eleventh Avenue South, covering local LGBT news, events, and politics.

I’m a night owl, and I go out a LOT. You can probably find me at the 19 Bar playing pool, hanging at one of the numerous local LGBT bars, searching the city for a good ’80s dance night, or checking out some live music by the terrific queer and mainstream local musicians in the Twin Cities. And I’ll be Minneapolis Metroblogging as much of it as I can!
