V-I-K-I-N-G-S, skol Vikings.
My friend and I decided to go in on a pair of season tickets to the Vikings this year. I haven’t been to any games in a couple of years, but do really enjoy going and being a part of the atmostphere.
Not suprisingly, the departure of Culpepper must be having an effect. There’s no waitlist right now. I input my info into their website on Sunday afternoon, and early AM Monday got a voicemail from one of their season ticket salespeople offering me an array of options.
They currently have tickets available in a number of different prices ranges, starting at 320, and going up to 670. They are all in the upper deck. There seems to be an assortment of tickets available at each price level in various spots around the dome.
I bought tickets to 4 single games a few years ago, and with the Ticketmaster fees, it cost nearly as much as the 10 game package would.
Worth checking out even if you don’t want to go to all of the games - the extra tickets should be pretty easy to unload on the internet.

It blows me away how expensive tickets to hockey/football/basketball games are. That’s part of the reason why I never go. And baseball (the Twins, anyway) is boring. So I’ll stick with my WNBA games for now. The most expensive season ticket package for the Lynx — we’re talking courtside seats — is $1568 this year. $960 for the first few rows of chairs.
