In case you weren’t aware, Pride is this weekend!

I can barely keep track of all that’s going on, and I’m sure I don’t even know the half of it. Here are a few of the things I know of so far:

FRIDAY

Uptown Pride Block Party, sponsored by Bryant-Lake Bowl -Bryant & Lake - 6pm-10:30 pm - FREE (B Girl Be, Venus, Arctic Universe, Black Blondie, Grant Hart, Foxy Tann and The Wham Bam Thank You Maams, Tina Schlieske, and others)
BLB After-party - BLB - 11:00 pm - FREE (Bernie The Trailer Park Queen in the Theater, DJ Lori Barbero in the restaurant/bowling lanes)
Savvy House Entertainment presents: DIVE - Moonlight Magic (Lucy’s Saloon) - doors at 7, music at 8, show at 10 — $10 cover (drinks, dancing, drag; Sick of Sarah and Angela Oase performing)
Diva Riot/Women Happening - Town House - 9pm-2am - FREE

SATURDAY

Pride Festival - Loring Park - time - FREE
Coleman Lindberg — at the festival, on the Rainbow Stage - 6:15 - FREE
Twilight — Trocadero’s - doors at 8 — $10, $40 VIP admission online with proceeds going to the 3 Day Walk Against Breast Cancer (featuring Lili’s Burlesque)
Dyke March - outside the Walker - 8:00 (afterparty at New City Billiards, 18+, $5)
Women’s Pride Ball, hosted by BADD BOI Productions - Ramada Inn downtown (10th & Hennepin) — doors at 9 — $7 in advance from Amazon Bookstore or Smitten Kitten, $10 at the door - 18+

Pride Parade - 3rd & Hennepin to Loring Park - starts at 11 a.m.
Pride Festival - Loring Park - FREE
Downtown Pride Block Party, sponsored by The Saloon - 9th & Hennepin - 5 pm - 18 to party, 21 to drink - $10 (Tiffany, Kimberley Locke, and others to perform)
Women Rock! - Bryant-Lake Bowl - doors at 9:30, music at 10 — $15 (call 612-825-8949) — Ellis, Tina Schlieske, and Leigh Combs, plus a short film by folk duo Karyn and Sharyn

ONGOING
