Just wanted to let everyone know that Animal Control and the Park and Rec Police are being vigilant around the Lakes (Isles, Calhoun, Harriet - not sure about Cedar) right now.

The fine for having an unleashed dog is $120. There’s also a fine for having your dog in a dog park without its permit, registration, and tags.

Usually, I take the risk, but I’ve seen people stopped multiple times and get ticketed. I was stopped the other day, but the cop let me off. Whew!

So leash your dogs, folks, and for the love, please scoop your poop.
