The front page of today’s Pioneer Press Sports section (the print version) has a huge picture of Seimone Augustus and a pretty good accompanying article. She was dunking at age 11. And we have the same birthday!

The Lynx season opener is tonight at 8:00 at the Target Center. It’s also on ESPN2 and 106.1FM. They’re playing the Connecticut Sun, so here’s your chance to see Lindsay Whalen. Assuming she’s healthy, she’ll be awesome to watch. She had surgery on her ankle during the offseason.

The Lynx are looking pretty good, but the Sun were Eastern Conference champs last year and haven’t lost very many people. Should be a good game.
