lunch and art

It’s almost lunch time, so I think I’ll walk up Nicollet and see them installing one of the art pieces for the new library. According to the Star Tribune, a 30-foot tall sculpture entitled Ptolemy’s Wedge will be erected today. An artist’s rendition can be seen on the Minneapolis Public Library’s site. Only a few days left until it’s open! I’m thinking of actually coming downtown early to get in line for the opening day. How big a nerd does that make me? Of course, I was a lost cause the day I realised that I had my library card number memorised.
