Six more hours….

It’s Friday. Let’s face it. We’re all sitting in our cubes killing time until we can go home for the weekend.

So share. What are you doing at work to make it through the day? Are you actually working?

I’m “reading SOPs” and will be venturing into the bowels of Eden Prairie to have lunch network with some folks.

Erica - you hit the nail on the head. No one’s working - especially not me! I’m biding my time until my noon conference call (which of course is scheduled right during my workout class - boo!) and then waiting until the majority of the office clears out…then I’m out too!

I’m passing the hours by reading blogs, shopping on Amazon, and placing a work call here and there.

Can’t wait until the clock hits noon…then the people will start filing out. Fun for me!

Aside from a quick lunchtime check-in, I *AM* working. I have a deadline by the end of the day today (and I have commitments tonight so I can’t stay late to finish if I dork around this afternoon), so it’s back to the salt mines for me.

Thank goodness it’s horrid weather, or I’d be feeling truly sorry for myself.

Funny that both Lex and I are reading the blog and commenting when we’re both working on EOD deadlines. Wish I had a buzzword bingo card today, though…I’d win for sure.

I’d like to amend my answer to include “hurry up and waiting” and also driving over to our other facility. I spent more time driving each way than I actually did in the building doing what I needed to do.

I also have to amend my answer, shortly after I posted, a Big Dog came in all dressed up in his suit (me - I was in jeans and a t-shirt). So, that sent a shake through the office and we all started typing away. Luckily he left by 3pm.
