Temp Agencies
In (one of) the TC LJ group(s): recommendations for temp agencies.
My only experience with a temp agency was going temp-to-hire at my current job. So it wasn’t a typical temp agency experience because I knew I’d get hired by my company in short order unless I really f-ed something up. And it’s a technical job, not a clerical one. But I know if I ever find myself in a bind that I could go this route, for either tech or clerical work.
I’ve heard plenty of “interesting” stories from people who have temped on a more regular basis. Do you have an “interesting” story about temping?
