What is this place?

Okay, so I have a friend visiting from out of town, and he is staying at a hotel in downtown Minneapolis. So the other day, we were tooling around looking for apartments (long story), and we were driving down Washington Avenue from downtown toward the University and 35W. Doo-doo-doo, pass by the skating rink, the Metrodome, the Big Brain comics building, that plumbing place, Grumpy’s bar, and then…an inexplicable stout gray building with a bomb sticking out of the front of it and Communist symbols in the windows, a building that I have inexplicably never noticed before. We may have been driving a little too fast or something (oops!), but neither of us could catch anything written on the door or windows. Anyone have any idea what this place is? I’m thinking we’ll stumble on over there the next time we’re at Grumpy’s, but maybe we should be cautious? Curiosity did kill the cat after all.

Is it the one directly across the street from Bobby and Steve’s Auto World, with the fans facing out towards 35W? If so, I can tell you exactly what goes on in that building, as I used to work there. ;)

I didn’t work at the place she’s talking about, just near it. So not much to tell, sorry!

I can’t think of it; the next building I see in my mind is the one with the giant mural of Jesus and a rainbow.

I seem to remember there was a vacant building somewhere around there; maybe someone’s picked it up and made changes?
