Hey, everyone. Long time, no blog…sorry ’bout that…

Aaaaanyways, flipping through the channels tonight, I stopped at the Late Show with David Letterman, and he’s STILL making cracks about the Vikings’ pleasure cruise debacle. Aren’t we done with that yet? Just curious.

I’m still flabbergasted by the terrific weather we’ve been having. (Truth be told, I’m a bit of weather geek, so anomalies like this fascinate me.) I have yet to hunker down for the winter hibernation, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve successfully avoided the malls so far, so I have not been inundated with the Christmas regalia that I’m sure has saturated every store window display. I am, however, looking forward to celebrating Christmas in the cities. I absolutely love the Hollidazzle parade, and I have had the privilege to actually participate in recent years…great fun! I’ve also been seeing a lot of local news stories about the Marshall Field’s/Dayton’s display this year, so I’m excited to go see that, but not till at least the first weekend of December. Meanwhile, I’m going to bask in the warm November sun and shuffle through the leaves that blanket the sidewalks around my apartment.

I hope everyone is well and is at least looking forward to this holiday season a little bit. Hopefully I’ll have a more substantial update very soon!
