Frost?

I parked on the street last night, and this morning I found honest-to-goodness frost on my car’s windows. I’ve been in winter denial because there’s been the odd smattering of nice days the last few weeks.

But, I need to face facts. This weekend I’ll be winterizing my motorcycles (although I’m holding out winterizing my sportbike just in case there’s one last nice day) and cleaning up my gear for storage over the winter.

Perhaps I’ll need to take up go-kart racing, or something for the winter months. World of Warcraft can only go so far.

This is the second morning I’ve had to scrape frost off of my car, but I hit the road pretty early. The first was a couple weeks ago, and as I was scraping then, the radio was saying, “High of 80 for the weekend!” Gotta love the Midwest.

    Jason, you’re insane.

See, I am not out riding around in the heat of the day. I’m leaving for work when it’s 40 degrees out and I can see my breath. The sun’s already setting (and the temp swiftly dropping) when I head home.

I don’t have the luxury of a full suit, heated grips or a windshield, so I f-f-f-f-freeze.

Awww c’mon, it can’t be that bad. Maybe you are just a wimp :)

I actually have never rode a motorcycle before, so I really have no frame of reference. I can imagine it being pretty cold on the extremeties, though…
