Some peeps are crazy…
We had a good opening weekend with “Sober Cab”. Good audiences both nights. The only problem we have run into is with the owners of the Old Arizona Theater. I had done a show there a few years ago and they were both very nice. I was excited to work with them again. Now I kind of regret it. Our show has brought them a TON of business. We have been nice enough to tell people that alcohol and food was able to be purchased in there cafe. They charge an arm and a leg for it, but it is pretty good stuff. However, they have been extremely rude to us and our customers for no apparent reason. They even went so far as to complain to a person calling in to reserve a ticket over the phone. They said they had no idea how many people would be calling for tickets and they were sick of it. The customer responded by saying they just wanted to buy a ticket. How could you do that? Why would you complain to the people that are giving you money? That makes absolutely no sense to me. We had a party Friday night after the opening, which they new about beforehand and were totally ok with. We brought in a karaoke dj, and even catered the event. All beverages were supplied by the Old Arizona. When they ran out of liquor, they told us we had to leave or they would cancel our show. So, they made there money and now they didn’t want us there anymore. I was so ticked off.
So maybe you should rethink your options if you were planning on putting a show up at the Old Arizona. I know I am not going to spend one more dime in the place. They took enough of my money for no respect in return. I’ll spend it were I’m appreciated…

Bitches and hos!
Seriously. They’re a theater. Isn’t it their whole job to do stuff like this?
That’s just stupid business practices, there.
