Just Me or Box Elder Bug Invasion

Is it just at my house or is there an invasion of box elder bugs going on right now? The front door and the rest of the front of my house was absolutely plastered with them when I got home today. Had to sweep them away to get in the door. Kind of creepy.

    Yeah, ’tis bug freak-out time in MN. I have those and the Asian beetles (ladybug lookalikes) and flies. WTF? Also? Gross.

    These boxelder bugs have gotten personal now.
    They are everywhere!!!! What kills these things I have tried dishwashing liquid like someone told me and it just takes the paint off of the house which my husband wasn’t happy about.
    But someone has to know how we can get rid of these awful bugs.
