back in Munich
It’s crazy here! There’s some sort of expo going on and every freakin’ hotel is booked tonight. Sad part is, we don’t leave until tomorrow. Are we gonna sleep in the subway? I suppose the bars are open until 4, we can check the car in at 7, and then our flight leaves at 1:30. Nothing wrong with sleeping at the airport, is there? At least it’ll pass the time and the flight back will seem like nothing. Jet lag city, here I come. I wonder when the last time the TC had something like this where every hotel in the entire city was booked. The Superbowl? Anyone ever had a problem like this in the TC, going from hotel to hotel with them all saying, “Sorry, no room at the inn!”?
So the countdown begins and soon I’ll be back in Minneapolis, thinking to myself how great it is, and wouldn’t it be nice if we had bike lanes like Germany, chocolate like Switzerland, opera and theater like Austria and bars and nightlife like Prague (I can’t speak for the rest of the Czech Republic).

Jason - Had a similar experience in Munich - we got a room for 2 nights, but the 3rd night was booked full. We hung out at at bar until about 4 and then caught our train at 6am-ish. It worked, but a bed would have been better.
