Flooding at Lake of the Isles
I’ve been reading everyone’s stories of the flooding, but I personally didn’t have any problems with all the rain we had the other day.
I did notice today, however, that big chunks of the walking paths at Lake of the Isles are completely underwater. I didn’t get a good look at the area on the north side of the lake that’s still under construction, but I’m betting a good portion of that is underwater, too.
Following the water along Dean Parkway heading over towards Cedar Lake, I could see that the water level there was pretty high, too.
In this picture, you can see the paved walking path descending into the water. The shore line is usually on the other side of those bushes to the right. The water level’s gotta be up several feet.
