Dole is trying to kill us

From LA Times/Reuters today:
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers of possible E. coli contamination in certain prepackaged salads from Dole Food Co. Reported instances of illness are limited to products purchased at Rainbow Foods in Minnesota, however products with the same production codes were distributed nationwide…

    I saw the title and my first thought was “Bob Dole” and I don’t know if that makes it funnier or not.

    I, too, thought of Bob Dole immediately. Glad to see that he’s not the Dole in question.

    However, I did buy some Dole salad…today, in fact. But it was the Caesar salad kit, for i R lazy. I’m not sure if I’m going to eat it now, though. Thanks for the tip. Any local news sources pick this up?
