I’ve never been to any French restaurants in the TC, unless you count the New French Bakery, but I’ll have to check out some after I get back, so I can compare it to the food I’ll be eating today in Lyon, France. It’s an hour’s drive outside of Geneva, and my sister and her husband have never been there, so it should be interesting to go check it out, a first time for all of us. An old city, lots of old buildings, a cathedral and medieval and renaissance houses, and a puppet musuem. Each day it feels more like Europe, although each day I can think of all the ways things could be better if we had more experience with each others cultures. Some things are better here, some are better back home.
