I Voted!

I Voted sticker I did my civic duty and voted in the Minneapolis city primaries yesterday. I was the 137th person in my precinct as of 1:30 yesterday afternoon.

This is the first time I’ve ever participated in a primary. Truth be told, the only reason I did it was so I could vote for Farheen Hakeem. She ended up finishing (what I thought was) a respectable third with 14% of the vote.

The Strib’s politics page (for now) lets you put in your zip code and address and see the returns, as well as browse the results of all the local primaries.
