NFL football kicked off yesterday. If you’re a Packers fan and are looking for a place to watch the games every week, go to The Herkimer (on Lyndale, between 29th and Lake).

There will be $2 beers, $2 soft pretzels, $2 brats, and games and door prizes.

I’m not a Vikings fan, and I have even less love for the Packers, but this caught my attention because this Sunday the Packers are playing the Lions. I know, I know, the Lions suck. But they’re my hometown team.

Festivities start at 2:00 p.m. Kickoff is at 3:15 p.m.
