Things Forgotten
So I’m sort of an Uptown snob, despite my best efforts to avoid it. And then someone goes and reminds me that there’s a whole world outside of downtown/Uptown/south Minneapolis.
For example, Minnesota Film Arts is currently hosting Twin Peaks on Friday nights at the Oak Street Theater. All episodes, in order, starting from the first. Excellent. Awesome early Hitchcock lineup as well.
I also had the extreme pleasure of breakfasting at Maria’s Cafe this week. I could die there very fat and happy. Or waddle down to Franklin Street Bakery for a baguette.
Simple pleasures that extend far further than the eye can see…
