For as much as I enjoy the lakes and spend hours upon hours running/walking/rollerblading around them, I’ve never even been close to thinking about sticking a toe in them.

Lake Calhoun currently has obscene levels of E. coli ’round about the 32nd Street beach. Given that there are dead bodies floating around in the lake, I don’t think I’d venture to the North or Thomas beaches either, even though they’re still open.

Lovely.
