Sorry I have been gone for so long, but working three jobs to pay the bills and for my social life can take a toll on a guy. Anywho, I went to see the Incredibles Friday night and I would say that the title was appropriate…but not quite. Webster’s Dicionary defines incredible as “Not credible; surpassing belief; too extraordinary and improbable to admit of belief.” I have come to expect the greaest from Pixar. It really wasn’t that I didn’t believe what I was seeing, I was just impressed, and very much so. This movie has action, laughs, and even a little emotional tug at the heart strings. Not to much though, before the laughter and action kick back in. Go see it people.
I went to the Eden Prairie 18 theater to see it. This is, to my knowledge, the only theater in the Twin Cities that has a digital projection screen. I saw Pirates of the Caribean on it last year. I am a big supporter of this. I will miss the clicking of the film against the camera, but watching how crisp and beautiful the picture can be is truly amazing. So, in ending, go see the Incredibles. If you can, go see it at Eden Prairie. It will be well worth your time…
